EPA, DOE Release Fuel Economy Lists for 2008 Vehicle Models

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE) release the top 10 most fuel efficient cars and worst fuel efficient cars.  It is a guide to help consumers make better choices to not only save money at the pump, but also reduce CO2 emission.  According the report, hybrid vehicles lead the chart from TOP 1 to TOP 5, and Toyota Prius tops the chart.

In case you have not heard, crude oil price has reached US$89 a barrel on Wednesday , and now people are talking about US$100 a barrel.  I think if you was in the market of purchasing a car, it is wise to choose those cars that have high efficiency and avoid those that have worst fuel efficiency.  (I am still waiting for the plug-in vehicles.
