“Old” News – The 1st Time I Called 9-1-1

I forgot to share something which happened two weeks ago with you.

The thing began when I heard something weird at a little over 4am.  It sounded like a car having some rare mechanical problems driving by my house.  It was loud, noisy.  As the result, I was alarmed and so looked out the window.  As I was watching the car driving by, and I was thinking to myself that it was certainly a release to me because it sounded like the car could loose control anytime and could possibly ran into my fence.  Suddenly, in the blink of my eyes, it made a 90 degree turn and ran into my fence.  Immediately, I jumped out of the chair, ran to the phone, and yes, called 9-1-1.  I called the police because I saw two people like teenagers running around, and I didn’t know whom they were and what they had.  In my mind, I felt that they could have some weapons, which would endanger me.  Plus, some car accidents could cause fire to burn, and I did see some smoke coming out of the hook.  Hence, I waited for the police to come before going out to check what was going on.  Then, after 10-15 min, the police finally arrived, and I went outside of the house.  Then, I found to my surprise it was a toll truck.  That particular section of fence was brick wall with steel bar in it, and upon impact, the car created a big hole about 40 ft or 12m across.  Many pieces of bricks and concrete splattered in a wide area, which indicated the among of force upon impact.  I guess it is safe to conclude that toll trucks have lots horse power. XD

From the police, I learned what really happened, much complicated than a simple car crash.  The driver of the toll truck was on call at that night, and as he drove to help.  He was robbed by two gunmen and then was held under gun driving by my house.  Therefore, he decided to ran into "something" in order to escape from the situation.  For some reasons, he chose the brick wall, and he did drive the car to crash on the brick wall.  When the car hit the wall, the driver jumped out the car, and ran to a police station for help.  Later, I saw two people, two gunmen, fleeing on foot, and the driver arrived back to scene with the police.  Seriously, I was glad that I did not go out to check on the situation because they really had gun.  And, who knew what might happen to me?  Smart move, KKai!! (Talking to myself)  Luckily, the toll truck company said that it would pay for the rebuilding of the wall.

After that, as the sun began to rise and I returned to my bed, I suddenly recalled that about two months ago I had a dream with a similar event.  In the dream, I saw a yellow toll truck running into a brick wall, and all the bystanders including my mom were laughing and watching the event.  When I woke up, all I asked myself was why, why, why.  Why toll truck?  Why brick wall?  Why were those bystanders laughing?  I did not understand.  Maybe it was it.  The dream really came to pass.  However, the only difference was that the toll truck in my dream was yellow, but the toll truck that actually ran into my fence was brown. :)
