Diary – Mexican Food Thoughts

Recently I have chance to work with a Latino (a politically correct name), which commonly by Americans is called a Mexican.  He is a nice guy, a hard-working man, a Christian who loves Jesus.  By working with him, I learned that he did not like Mexican food.  At first, I thought because he was a Latino, maybe I should bring him to the best Mexican restaurant in town (in term of taste).  However, he said he did not want to go Mexican restaurant because he did not like Mexican food; instead, he liked Chinese food.  I laughed and began to wonder, “a ‘Mexican’ does not like Mexican food”.  Yes, I was a little surprised because it is like … A French does not like French food; an Italian does not like Italian food; an Indian does not like Indian food; and/or, a Chinese does not like Chinese food, of which are just unheard to me, yet I guess there is a first time for everything.  So at the end, we gave thanks to the Father for Chinese food and enjoyed it. :D

Kkai:我也非常好奇你做的是什么工作?其实你也不用那么大惊小怪,他不喜欢吃自己本身族群的食物并没有错,又可能他觉得你地区的maxican food NO delicious compare with his original country.你知道是什么原因他不喜欢maxican food吗?
