Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) Red Color Issue

Today I tested stream via OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) on Linux and ran into two issues. I accidentally solved one of the issues, so I posted this and hope this could help some of you who might have the same issue.

The image below shows one of the issues from the video I captured.

In FTL (Faster Than Light), the spaceships should have orange color, but in the video they were all blue. I searched the Internet could not find a solution.

The solution: I checked “Swap red and blue”, clicked “OK”, and hoped the problem could go away. However, it did NOT seem to work. Because it didn’t work, I changed the setting back. Then, the problem went away, and the color is now normal.

I hope this post could help someone/somewhere/somehow. :)

RSA Shorts – The Power of Empathy

What is empathy?
“Empathy fuels connections, and sympathy drives disconnections.”

Four qualities of empathy:

  • Perspective taking – the ability of taking another person’s perspective
  • Staying out of judgment
  • Recognizing emotions in other people
  • Communicating that

The problem was that we tried to make something better, which is probably one of my biggest problems in any conversation.
She concluded that rarely can our response make something better, but what makes something better is the connection. That is very true indeed.

How Does A Gas Nozzle Know When To Shut Off?

The video should be called the science behind a gas nozzle.
As a commenter points out, the word, gas, here means gasoline or petrol. Nevertheless, it is interesting to know the mechanism and how it works behind a simple gas nozzle. :)
